The ALC-SH128 lens hood is specifically designed for the Sony E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G OSS lens and helps minimize stray light by deflecting it away from the lens. The petal-shaped lens hood also provides additional protection for the lens against accidental bumps, impacts, or scratches. It is offered here as a replacement for the lens hood originally included with the lens.
