das Handling des Objektivs gestaltet sich als sehr leicht und angenehm. Zudem ist es recht leicht und somit sind auch längere Fototouren ohne Probleme möglich. Auch der Autofokus und der Bildstabilisator arbeitet zuverlässig und flott. Allerdings sind Verzeichnungen und Vignettierungen bei Offenblende das eine oder andere Mal schon ein Problem.
Das Sony Objektiv bietet im Vergleich zum Zeiss Modell eine bessere Abbildungsleistung und das sowohl an den Rändern als auch in der Bildmitte. Zudem verfügt das Modell über einen zusätzlichen Stabilisator, der nochmals das Bild optimiert.
