The Soundmaster ICD2020 can play music in different ways. It is equipped with an integrated FM and DAB+ radio receiver and also connects to the Internet via WLAN. It can then play music in MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, FLAC and ALAC formats as well as Internet radio stations shared on the network. In addition, the ICD2020 sound master can be fed with a USB memory stick and music stored on it can be played. On the top side, a CD player is also built in, which can read audio CDs as well as burned discs. The soundmaster can be connected via Bluetooth to playback devices such as a smartphone. After switching on the Soundmaster for the first time, the radio first wants to connect to the Internet at home. This is quickly done with the buttons on the device or on the supplied remote control. Now the individual music sources can be selected. The easiest way to do this is to use the direct selection buttons on the remote control. The soundmaster has extensive setting options. The stored stations in FM and DAB+ mode can be stored individually on favourite memories. The display shows title information as well as slideshows. The radio is equipped with classic functions such as sleep timer and alarm clock. The display brightness can also be adjusted within the menus.
