The 2x4 HDMI splitter makes it possible to easily distribute two HDMI source devices to up to 4 HDMI displays. This makes it possible to switch between both HDMI inputs without having to reconnect. Switching the HMDI inputs is done with the included remote control. The signal of the active HDMI input is output in parallel to all HDMI outputs. Sophisticated arrangement of the cable connections All connections are located on the back of the unit. Thus, the switch can be mounted in a space-saving way. 3 different audio EDID settings 2CH: The splitter only supports LPCM 2.0 here and passes this information on to the source device. 5CH: The splitter is now compatible with Dolby-AC3, DTS and LPCM 2.0 and the source device outputs the best possible audio format. PASS: The unit automatically detects the best supported audio format. 3 different video EDID settings Video 4K: The splitter supports resolutions up to 3840x2160@30Hz and passes this information on to the source device. The source device outputs the best possible resolution. Video 3D: The splitter supports resolutions up to 1080p/3D and passes this information on to the source device. The source device outputs the best possible resolution. PASS: The splitter determines the best possible resolution of the target device and passes this information on to the source device.
