Product details

Spectrum Filament PCTG CF10 1.75mm 1kg Remarkable filament, enriched with carbon fibres PCTG is a copolyester with growing popularity among users of 3D printing technology. In terms of properties, it is often compared to PETG, which is well known to every printer operator. However, it is worth mentioning that PCTG has a significantly higher impact strength compared to its big brother. The high elasticity of PCTG combined with high layer cohesion, high viscosity and negligible shrinkage make it an ideal polymer for composites. The first PCTG-based composite material we have developed is the carbon fibre version - PCTG CF10. The carbon fibres used give the filament extremely high stiffness and at the same time reduce the brittle fracture that is characteristic of other PETG-based carbon composites. The PCTG CF10 filament enables the printing of elements with higher hardness and tensile strength than classic PCTG. The use of carbon fibres increases the heat resistance of the filament, reduces shrinkage and gives the printed models a characteristic matt "carbon" design. With Spectrum PCTG CF filament, 3D printing becomes an even more viable alternative to traditional plastic processing to obtain durable and long-lasting everyday objects, regardless of dimensions. Advantages heat deflection temperature HDT - 76°C high stiffness and tensile strength good impact resistance chemical resistance high dimensional stability of the printed elements matt carbon printing surface possibility of treating hollow partsApplication Visual and functional prototyping Matching tests Conceptual models Manufacture of housings and covers Manufacture of parts subject to abrasive wear Production tools and fixtures Recommended printing settings Recommended printing temperature: 250-270°C Heating temperature: 250-270°C Recommended printing temperature: 250-270°C Heating bed: required Recommended heating bed temperature: >50°C Printing speed: 30-80mm/s Closed installation space: Not required.
