PCI USB card adapter with 7 ports. The StarTech PCI USB card with 7 ports expands your PCI-enabled PC with USB 2.0 connections. This PCI USB 2.0 card is a versatile solution that allows you to add USB 2.0 ports without the need to upgrade the system motherboard. It features 4 external USB 2.0 ports and 3 internal USB 2.0 ports/header sockets, all compliant with High-Speed USB 2.0, supporting data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps. It is backward compatible with USB 1.1/1.0 devices and provides a power output of up to 500 mA per port. The card is compatible with USB EHCI Revision 0.95 and UHCI 1.1 specifications, as well as PCI specification Revision 2.2. It supports up to 127 USB devices (additional USB hubs required) and offers plug-and-play and hot-swap compatibility.
