With the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter DP2HDMI2 from StarTech.com, you can connect an HDMI monitor or projector to a DisplayPort output of a computer (desktop or laptop), saving the cost of upgrading to a DisplayPort-capable display system. The adapter supports resolutions up to 1920x1200, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of HDMI video functionality. DP2HDMI2 is a passive adapter cable that requires a DP++ connection (DisplayPort++). This means that DVI and HDMI signals can also be transmitted through the port.

This adapter allows audio passthrough when supported by the video source. Please refer to the video source's manual for support information.
