The StarTech Dual 2.5-inch/3.5-inch Hard Drive Dock Duplicator allows you to duplicate or clone an existing hard drive without the need for a host computer system. As a hard drive copier, the SDOCK2U33RE creates an exact sector-by-sector clone from one hard drive to another. It supports both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives (HDD) as well as solid-state drives (SSD) via eSATA and USB 3.0 host interface connections.

The 1:1 hard drive copy and docking station supports SATA III (6 Gbit/s) and UASP for optimal performance. It accommodates dual drive capacities of up to 4 TB per slot (totaling 8 TB) and is compatible with SATA hard drives of versions I/II/III (1.5/3.0/6.0 Gbit/s) as well as USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 (5 Gbit/s/480 Mbit/s/1.5 Mbit/s).

The dual-bay design with drive doors and top-loading slot maximizes efficiency with duplication speeds of up to 22 GB per minute and eSATA docking speeds of up to 6 Gbit/s.
