With the managed fiber optic media converter ET91000LCOAM, you can extend a Gigabit Ethernet connection over Multi Mode LC fiber. An additional advantage is the remote management feature.
This managed media converter complies with the 802.3ah OAM (Operations, Administration & Management) standards and provides a user-friendly web interface for operation, management, and maintenance, allowing you to quickly identify faulty connections or error states without needing to send service personnel to the device's location.
The Ethernet-to-fiber converter is an effective solution for connecting a Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T) network to network segments via a (1000Base-LX/SX) fiber backbone and supports full Gigabit speeds over distances of up to 550 meters using the installed Multi Mode LC SFP. The converter also features a full steel housing for durability in challenging environments.
For added versatility, this fiber optic media converter supports standalone operation or installation in a 2U rack-mount enclosure with 20 slots or a hot-swappable SFP slot.
