The right-angled (90-degree) SATA cable SATA6RA1 has a standard (straight) SATA socket and a right-angled SATA socket and provides a simple 15 cm connection to a Serial ATA drive. It supports the full SATA 3.0 bandwidth of up to 6 Gbps when used with SATA 3.0 compliant drives. The right-angled SATA connection allows a Serial ATA hard drive to be connected in hard-to-reach or tight places, while the compact and flexible design of the cable improves airflow and reduces cable clutter in computer cases, keeping the case clean and cool. Alternatively, StarTech.com also offers a 15 cm left-angled SATA cable (SATA6LA1), which is just as easy to install as the right-angled SATA cable. However, it is connected to the SATA hard drive from the opposite side.
