The coded magnetic safety switches XCS-DMR are designed for monitoring doors, covers, and safety devices of industrial machines with imprecise guidance and low inertia. These safety switches are ideally suited for machines that are frequently exposed to washing or liquid spray mist. They protect the operator by immediately stopping any hazardous movement as soon as the distance between the switch and its magnet exceeds 8 mm.

LED versions feature an LED in series with a normally open contact to indicate when the protective cover is closed. Coded reed technology ensures that the switch cannot be completely bypassed by a simple magnet. Cylindrical plastic housing with dimensions: Ø 30 x 38.5 mm. Available pre-wired or with a connector on loose cable. Protection class IP66/67 according to EN/IEC 60529. Complies with ROHS.
