XS9 Series Inductive Proximity Sensors - Stainless Steel 316L. The XS9 series of inductive proximity sensors features a single-piece stainless steel 316L housing with an extremely robust sensor front that is resistant to mechanical shocks and vibrations. This series is ideal for use in harsh industrial environments and is well-suited for applications such as food and beverage, underwater applications, as well as vehicles with moving parts. The XS sensors are made entirely of metal, highly resistant to water pressure and exposure, and offer IP68/69K enclosure protection. The Ecolab specification means that these sensors are resistant to aggressive cleaning processes that use chemical agents. The factor 1 detection feature of these sensors allows for the detection of both ferrous and non-ferrous materials from the same distance.
