This optical converter is responsible for capturing an optical television signal (1100...1650 nm), processing it, and restoring the original satellite and terrestrial television signals to deliver legacy or dCSS signals through its 4 RF outputs. Thanks to its optimized electronic behavior and low losses, it is possible to reduce the number of required amplifier devices and simplify its use in collective systems while maintaining signal quality from start to finish. Additionally, it is suitable for use in GPON installations and perfectly tuned for dCSS applications. This device is part of the Overlight system, which handles the distribution of satellite and DTT signals to multiple users over a single fiber optic line.
