The tolerances of the lapping tool allow for grinding the heat spreader by 0.2 millimeters. The 13th generation lapping tool is compatible with Intel Core CPUs from the 12th and 14th generations. Sandpaper in grits of 400, 1,200, and 2,500 is included.
