How this product works
The TL-FC311B-20 uses WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, allowing data to be sent and received over a distance of up to 20 km using just one single-mode fiber. This saves customers half the cost of cable deployment. The TL-FC311B-20 transmits data at a wavelength of 1310 nm and receives data at a wavelength of 1550 nm on an optical fiber. Therefore, the device used in conjunction with the TL-FC311B-20 should send data at a wavelength of 1550 nm and receive data at a wavelength of 1310 nm.
