The hub expands a single USB 3.0 port into a total of four slots, allowing multiple devices to be operated simultaneously via the fast USB 3.0 interface. With the included power supply, the hub can deliver a high output current of up to 2 A through the designated fast charging port. This enables much faster charging of the Apple iPad or other high-power mobile devices compared to a conventional USB port. It complies with the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 specification and provides 2 A output current for charging iPads and other mobile devices. It supports the USB Battery Charging Specification v1.2.

Der USB-Hub von Transcend machte im Test einen recht guten Eindruck. Das Gehäuse ist äußerst kompakt und leicht, wobei auch der Preis recht günstig ist. Außerdem bietet er vier USB-Schnittstellen und kann auch ohne Netzteil betrieben werden. Zudem ist er auch für die Stromversorgung eines mobiles Endgerät geeignet wenn es an einem Netzteil angeschlossen ist.
