The Vertiv Avocent MergePoint IQ Server Interface Module is designed for use with KVM-over-IP switches. This cable connects to the Autoview and MergePoint Unity KVM switches via a standard CAT5 cable and provides an HDMI video and USB 2.0 interface for connecting to the server. The cable allows the administrator to utilize virtual media for remote ISO uploads and troubleshooting, and it also supports Smartcard/CAC authentication. A cable is required for each server connected to the KVM switch.
