Reduction of reflections
The circular polarisation filter minimises reflections on surfaces such as glass or water and prevents autofocus issues by means of a quarter-wave plate.
Multi-coated glass lens
The multi-coated glass lens is set in a precisely manufactured metal mount for reliable handling.
Limitation for wide-angle lenses
To avoid uneven polarisation of skylight, the focal length used in 35 mm format should be at least 28 mm.
