Additionally, UV filters reliably protect your lens from dust, splashes, and scratches on the front lens. The UV filter can remain on your lens year-round and is easy to clean.

The UV filter features outstanding optical properties. The high-quality, ground filter glass is coated with 16 layers (DMC - specifically for digital cameras). This ensures that the performance of your lenses is not diminished during use: 99% of incoming light still reaches the lens. With a height of only about 2.5 mm, the filter is particularly thin, lightweight, and compact. The glass is housed in a precisely manufactured metal frame. Thanks to the knurled frame, the filter is particularly easy to grip and can be easily unscrewed when needed. The included storage box protects it from damage during transport.

Nano-coating for better photos

Two layers of nano-coating ensure clear visibility: dust has little chance to settle on the filter, and water and oil simply bead off. Unlike unsealed glasses, droplets do not spread on the filter glass but remain semi-round and run off independently.
