The HEATKILLER V eBC Backplate is a sensible addition to the HEATKILLER V Series graphics card coolers. Mounted on the back of the graphics card, it enhances cooling performance and mechanical stability. This is made possible by the use of solid black anodized aluminum. The machined logos and indirect lighting are certainly eye-catching features as well. The backplate cools relevant components on the back of the PCB, including the GPU and voltage regulators (VRM). Pre-cut thermal pads are included for this purpose. Spacers (electrically insulating) attached to the back of the backplate ensure easy installation on the graphics card. The included mounting materials are optimized for use with a HEATKILLER V Series water cooler.
