The Ultrastar DC HA200 series drives are designed for up to 550 TB per year and are available with up to 2 TB of effective storage capacity. The RVS technology (Rotational Vibration Safeguard) in these drives compensates for linear and rotational vibrations in real-time. This is particularly important in arrays with multiple drives and in rack systems to maintain high read/write performance. The Ultrastar DC HA200 series features a SATA interface with 6 Gbit/s and a native sector size of 512 bytes (512n) for compatibility with legacy applications in data centers.
