Polylactic acid (PLA) is a polymer that consists, among other things, of lactic acid molecules. Currently, we offer PLA filament in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm. A heated bed is advantageous for PLA filament, but not strictly necessary. We recommend using an air cooler when processing PLA filament. Additionally, PLA is characterized by significantly more pleasant odor properties compared to other plastics.

Our PA12 is an amorphous thermoplastic with very low water absorption. This makes PA12 the ideal material for humid environments where high impact resistance, good sliding properties, and good wear resistance are required. PA12 has a very low density of 1 g/cm³. Polyamide 12 is the type of polyamide that is easiest to print due to its very low shrinkage. PA12 has excellent stress crack resistance and high flexural fatigue strength.
