Additionally, the controller provides the option to connect temperature sensors to capture and visually display temperatures. Creative approaches also allow for potentiometers or voltages in the range of 0 to 3.3 volts to be used at the inputs, enhancing the versatility of the device. 3. Aqua Computer OCTO fan controller for PWM fans
The effective OCTO fan controller from Aqua Computer impresses with a variety of connection options and settings in the extensive aquasuite software. The fan controller accommodates a total of eight PWM fans and also features connections for two RGBx elements, four temperature sensors, and a flow sensor.
With a maximum total power of 100 W and 25 W per fan channel, splitters can also be used to connect multiple fans to a single channel. In combination with the temperature sensor connections, the fans can also be temperature-controlled.
The two RGBx outputs allow for the adjustment of digitally controllable LEDs, which are also compatible with RGB products from other manufacturers when using an optional adapter. The flow sensor also enables use in a water-cooled PC.
