With this conversion kit, which includes a riser cable and a PCI slot bracket, a graphics card can be installed vertically in cases with seven PCI slots. To do this, the entire slot cover of the midi tower is removed and replaced with the slot cover included in the kit. 2. CableMod Verti PCI-e Bracket 2x DP
With the black vertical graphics card holder from CableMod, consisting of a PCIe riser cable and a special PCI slot bracket, a graphics card can be installed vertically in all common tower cases. The adapter slot bracket is attached to the slot brackets of the case and is compatible with all cases that have an open PCI slot design and at least seven free slots. The graphics card is shifted approximately 3.1 cm further into the case. The riser cable connects the graphics card to the PCIe slot on the motherboard. Its x16 slot is electrically connected with a full 16 data lanes, providing the full bandwidth for graphics cards. A flexible flat ribbon cable is used for data transfer. Additionally, two heavily angled DisplayPort cables are included.
