4. Alphacool 13/10mm icicle G1/4
The AlphaCool icicle screw-on fitting made of brass has a diameter of 20 millimeters and features two different sides. One side has a 1/4-inch thread and is compatible with most components. On the other side, a 13/10-millimeter hose can be connected. The thread has a length of five millimeters. The AlphaCool icicle screw-on fitting is angled at 90° and can rotate 360°.
5. Alphacool Icicle Pro Connection 16mm Hardtube Fitting G1/4, 6-Pack
The new Eiszapfen PRO HardTube fittings from Alphacool are an evolution of the well-known Eiszapfen. In developing these fittings, Alphacool specifically focused on a particular issue: the deformation of PETG HardTubes at high temperatures. These can start to deform at just 60 °C. Although such temperatures are generally rare, they can still occur. The Eiszapfen PRO fittings prevent this problem from the outset and keep the tubes in position. Deformation is prevented by the new nylon inserts inside, which stabilize the HardTubes. Furthermore, the fitting still features an O-ring and a compression seal. However, the contact surface is much larger than that of standard O-rings, providing better grip. The use of the compression seal in the screw connection reinforces the tube from both the inside and outside. Even under higher loads, the HardTube does not shift. Alphacool has tested tensile strength of over 8 kg, so there’s no need for concern in this regard.

Thanks to a sophisticated closure and sealing system and the N.D.S.L (no drip, no splash, no leak) technology, water loss when opening the quick disconnect is minimal. Only a tiny drop of water escapes. The closure is easily released by pulling on the connection ring, causing the counterpart to automatically pop out of the quick disconnect. To connect, simply push both pieces together. It's incredibly easy and can be done by any user.

7. Alphacool HF Quick release coupling set
Alphacool's new quick-release coupling sets have been newly developed for safety reasons. For this reason, these couplings do not have a "click" mechanism but are screwed together with a kind of union nut. This prevents the couplings from being unlocked accidentally.
Due to the installation of these couplings, the flow rate is only slightly or not at all impaired. When unlocked, both sides of the coupling seal completely.
There is a 1/4" thread on both sides. This means that connections in all sizes can be used.

Only a half quick disconnect?
A quick disconnect consists of a male and a female connector. Therefore, you always need the corresponding counterpart to have a complete quick disconnect. With this product, you only get the half quick disconnect. However, this allows you to combine different versions of quick disconnects. There are variants with a Schott screw connection, with G1/4" external threads, or the classic G1/4" internal threads. This way, you can mix and match as desired and create the best solution for your project.
