Details: This next-generation reservoir, the EK-Quantum Volume³ FLT, builds on the success of the existing FLT flat reservoirs and enhances compatibility and installation processes through additional G1/4” connection ports.
The reservoir features standard 140mm fan mounting holes for maximum installation flexibility. It is equipped with a total of six G1/4” ports, allowing users to select the optimal configuration for their liquid cooling loops.
These new FLT reservoirs are available in five different sizes: 120mm, 240mm, 140mm, 280mm, and 360mm.
The new Volume³ flat-shaped reservoirs will revolutionize the way you think about loop building. As 140mm fan mounting patterns (125mm spacing) are currently the dominant mounting options in PC cases, these new Volume FLT reservoirs offer greater installation flexibility without the need for drilling holes in the case. The reservoir also features additional mounting points on both sides (125mm spacing) that can be used with the included L-shaped steel mounting plates. All mounting screws utilize M4 threads with the provided screws.
The reservoir is made from high-quality acrylic material and is precisely machined, while sealing is ensured by a custom-made, high-quality EPDM O-ring. Next to the reservoir is a black anodized aluminum cover, under which the addressable D-RGB LED strip is located. Proper LED implementation is one of EK's main focuses to ensure that there are as few visible "LED hotspots" as possible. The cover is now a standalone part that can be easily removed at any time should the LED strip need maintenance or replacement.

7. EKWB EK-RES X3 - Anticyclone long
The EK-RES X3 succeeds the EK-Multioption RES 2 from EK Water Blocks. This reservoir for water cooling systems features several optimizations compared to its three-year-old predecessor. For instance, the port arrangement of the G1/4-inch connections has been improved to make integration into the cooling loop more straightforward and hose routing easier. The terminal located at the bottom, made of POM (Acetal), has been redesigned for even better flow.
With this replacement part offered here, there is not only the option to equip the EK-RES-X3 series reservoirs with an aesthetically pleasing accessory. The transparent replacement part primarily serves to balance negative pressure and elegantly incorporates the EK Water Blocks logo into its structure.
