... that I understand this correctly now... "...it has a USB output via which USB-chargeable devices such as smartphones, tablets etc. can be charged"... -> So I can e.g. charge 4 batteries, hang the charger from the wall and then charge my mobile phone with the same (just charged) batteries in the location device? Or then insert the battery into my FM radio? Is there any experience with white and black (pro) eneloops? Thx for feedbacks.

Hoi (greeting, always nice when you want something and greet others in the community).
To the questions: Yes, has a USB output for charging devices.
You can charge 4 batteries *OR* charge the one hanging on the USB port.
No, you can't charge the 4 batteries at the same time as the one on the USB (that's what the USB-out button is for).
No, you cannot use the 4 batteries as power supply for the USB hanging.
The charged batteries (AAA or AAAA), when fully charged, can be used where needed.

We use a lot of white and also pro-black ones in the whole house for a lot of thermostats or mice or room sensors - the black AA last a bit longer than the white ones, but it doesn't make a big difference in my opinion - especially because both types (pro and white) have 1.2V - and not 1.5V like the conventional Nicmd batteries...

Any questions?

You can also use the charger as a mains adapter with USB output, but not at the same time as battery charging and the output power is also only 5W.
Unlike other AA/AAA battery chargers, this one allows you to use batteries that are NOT charged as a PowerPack.

eneloop (and other brands with eneloop technology) is the best rechargeable AA and AAA available in the long run. I have hundreds in use, all marked with the date of purchase and even some that are still from SANYO (before Panasonic bought eneloop) from 2007 and they still have >90% capacity.

The black Pro have a bit more juice in them, but the same discharge curve.
