2 questions: 1. why is it hardly possible to charge an Apple Watch? It seems to work at first. If you then check after a while, the charging process has stopped. The power bank is fully charged. 2. is there a way to change the unreadable UI (I know, I'm asking a lot....).

Helpful answer

Another thing: On the Sharge homepage it is impossible to download the user manual and the support does not answer. Does anyone know where to get the BA?

On the first point, I can only say that the powerbank has problems charging low power devices via the usb c ports. I usually charge better via the USB A port. Sharge describes exactly which charging modes are supported, compare them with the expected value of the Apple watch.

On the second point, I know that Sharge has improved the UI on the new models, the firmware is not user, or even upgradeable. But you can try to reverse engineer it and upgrade it yourself. Here is a good place to start: https://github.com/LeoDJ...

First of all: Thanks for the tip.

I have a completely different powerbank from xtorm with similar problems. I can perhaps give you a tip from experience.

It might help if you connect a device that can draw more power at the same time, e.g. a fully charged smartphone or tablet. The power bank may then remain active.

I know that this solution is not satisfactory, but it might be better for you than returning it.

P.S. I (also?) find it frustrating that power banks are only ever advertised with the highest possible amperage, but the little gadgets like your Apple Watch and the indicator on my bike helmet, which make life more beautiful, are forgotten.
