Price is determined by supply and demand

If the quantity offered increases and the demand remains the same or decreases, the price of the goods also decreases. e.g. if the harvest of apples is very high, more apple juice can be produced, but if the demand remains unchanged, more is produced than is bought, so the price of apple juice decreases.

If, on the other hand, supply falls and demand remains the same, the price of the commodity rises, e.g. if the apple harvest is very low due to early frost, the price of apple juice rises if demand remains the same or rises.

This is normal at Digitec there have been more extreme examples one I had my eye on at the beginning of the year went from 290 to 370 and stayed there for almost 2 months before it went down to 300 now at Cyber monday a lot more prices have been jacked up so they can be declared as a promotion again tomorrow
