Better display for what?

Specifications are one factor, experience (I have both (Apple & Philips) side by side) speaks a different language.

Both are great monitors, each has its advantages. Overall, the Apple is subjectively noticeably better for me.
Advantages of Philips: several inputs, charging function for "Windoof computers", but the operation with the fiddly buttons is a disaster, lack of camera and lousy speakers ...
