According to the specifications of my motherboard, only 6th and 7th generation CPUs are supported. The I5-9600K should fit in the socket, and with the motherboard up to 95w is also possible. Will there be any problems if I buy a 9th generation CPU now or will it still work?

For each mainboard, the manufacturer provides a list of all CPUs that are supported by this board. If the CPU is not in the list, it will not work.
