Z370 boards are supported if you have done the bios update.

Yes, my ASUS Z270 is not compatible with this processor, I recommend anyone buying this processor to have a Z370 or later. Z310 is compatable with BIOS updates.

On the hardware side, I haven't read/heard anything yet. On the software side, I'm not really well informed, but I haven't heard anything there either.
