As stated in the discussions, the DX800A requires the cable from RJ11 to RJ45 (pin 1+8) for the analogue connection. the cable from RJ11 to RJ45 (Pin 1+8) ? I have connected this to the existing one using an RJ connector. Does not work!

I also had problems with the cables supplied. Enquiries with Siemens and Cablecom did not help. Finally, the local electrician knew what to do. In a few minutes he made a cable with the right connections. Actually, just like 50 years ago. I haven't had any problems since. The electrician is Elektro-Telecom Hardmeier AG in Meilen. Good luck.

No idea! I operate the DX800A in ISDN mode. The Fritzbox is a gateway to the VOPI provider and delivers an S0 signal. The ISDN runs great, with all the comfort functions of ISDN.
