Can anyone here make a statement about how the sound compares to the predecessor, I have the A40 TR myself and am thinking of changing, because visually it also looks great! Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything about it because it's my first time using this product. However, I am quite happy with it. Maybe Digitec could make a Youtube video for comparison. =P
However, next time I would order the wireless ones (I think Astro A50). The whole cable thing gets on my nerves a bit.
