Can anyone recommend a USB C to USB A cable that can be used to charge the phone on the computer and transfer data? I naively thought that a USB A to USB A cable would be enough, as a USB C - USB A (female) adapter is included, but unfortunately it didn't work. Before I order another cable, I wonder if anyone has tried one effectively. Thank you very much for your answers.
I have this one and it works without problems: Roline USB 3.1 Gen2 (A - C, 0.50m, 3.1)
In general, you shouldn't have any problems with USB-A to USB-C cables, especially if you buy them here and don't import them from China (Wish, AliExpress etc.).
Thank you very much, my uncertainty has been cleared up in the meantime. The uncertainty stemmed from various posts (e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r...), according to which there are difficulties with USB 3.1 cables. These only affected Android Oreo (8), but I have Pie (9), and in the meantime there is even an update to 10. I have now bought this one, and it works perfectly: Lindy Type A to C 3A (A - C, 0.50m, 3.1)
