Can anyone say something about their experience with the NC? I would like to buy NC headphones primarily for train travel and have read several times that the headphones do not filter background noise well (especially conversations in the vicinity).

Hello, I had them on the other day in the plane, if you have music playing, then you get as good as nothing from the surroundings! With action films in the background, however, the bass is extremely amplified.
