Hi FurrerM234,

if the TV has an S-CENTER SPEAKER IN jack, you can output the mid frequencies (centre range of the sound) of the speaker system through the TV by connecting the TV using the following procedure.
- Connect the speaker system and the TV using the HDMI cable (supplied).
- Connect the S-CENTER SPEAKER IN jack on the TV and the S-CENTER OUT jack on the speaker system using the TV centre speaker mode cable (supplied).
If you connect the speaker system and the TV with the HDMI cable (supplied) and the TV centre speaker mode cable (supplied), the centre speaker frequencies of the sound from the speaker system can be output from the TV.
Please set [Control for HDMI] to [On].
- [On]: A TV compatible with this function is used as the centre speaker. You can output the centre speaker frequencies of the sound from the speaker system through the TV.
- [Off]: Off

Difficult question. In principle, it should work.
However, it is unclear whether the centre output only outputs a preamplifier signal.
In this case, the centre speaker would have to be an active speaker with an integrated power amplifier. Furthermore, the question arises as to how the volume of the centre speaker is controlled? There is no corresponding button on the remote control. Unfortunately, there is no specification for the centre output in the manual.

I operate the system on an LG TV without any problems.
