In my experience, the education status is checked once for your Adobe account and is then considered approved for all orders until the deadline on the enrolment card or student ID. As long as it's still within the date, you only have to fill in some details again (name of school, until when, which direction of study). I submitted my student ID as a photo about a year ago (it was approved) and was now able to reorder easily as Misterbrasil writes.

I just had to tell Adobe which school I was in. I don't know whether they check this at all. I had immediate access to the download.
