Can I connect the mouse to two computers? So with the wireless dongle on one computer and by cable on another? I only use one computer at a time, but I don't want to keep changing the cable or the receiver. (a kvm switch or a software solution is out of the question).

Yes, it works! I have connected the mouse to a Windows PC via wireless dongle and to a Mac via cable. As soon as I plug in the cable, the mouse is on the Mac and when I unplug it, it is on the Windows computer. The perfect solution to my problem.
The mouse also feels quite good.

No, unfortunately this is not possible, as the cable can only be used to charge the mouse.
