Question about Lindy DisplayPort — DisplayPort
Can I connect this cable to my monitor which only has connector 1.2 and still play at 144hz (graphics card has connector 1.4)? Thank you.
Hello Enzino,
The Displayport cable supports DP 1.2 and DP 1.4 and should work with 144Hz displays.
However, it does not make a display 144Hz capable if it is not capable from the ground up.
