Can I connect this digital radio to my Bose Soundtouch 300 on the optical IN connector because I have the TV on the hdmi. And would the soundbar turn on when I turn on the radio?

I can't say whether this works with Bose, can Bose Hotline help? I have connected the Technisat 143 CD to my Teufel THX Soundbar at the Optical-In, the TV to HDMI ARC - that works great.
