Can I install two M2 PCI-E 4.0 SSDs on this mainboard? The mainboard only has 1x PCI-E 4x - but it still says 2 times. Does that mean either or? https://rog.asus.com/ch-en/motherboards/rog-crosshair/rog-crosshair-viii-formula-model/spec/

Sorry the board has two m.2 slots not three, but both are PCI-E 4 compatible.

Yes, you can install two PCI-E 4 M2 SSDs. The board has 3 M.2 slots and two of them are PCI-E 4 compatible.
