As far as I know, you can be connected at the same time, but as soon as you play something from the second connected source, it is switched over and the other source can no longer be heard. So, for example, if you are connected to the PC with the dongle and to the mobile phone via Bluetooth and you are gaming, as soon as you play something on the mobile phone, the source is switched to Bluetooth and you no longer hear the sound from the dongle.
