Can I use this chair without the castors? I am currently looking for an office chair without castors because my office is in the living room and I want a seat without castors.

The foot is not suitable for use without wheels...The cylinder in the centre is lower than the 4 star feet. However, you may be able to see if there are suitable feet to replace the castors with the same fixing system.

Yes, you don't have to put the wheels on for me. However, I think it would be a good idea to go to a DIY shop and buy a piece of felt to stick between the floor and the metal base.
