This DVD player can only play DVDs that are marked with region code «1» or «ALL.» It is not inherently region-free for all DVDs from other regions. However, some versions or modifications of this model may be region-free or multi-region, but the standard unit restricts playback to region 1 DVDs and region-free (all regions) DVDs only.
