A separate receiver is required for this, then it will work. However, I would not recommend this projector for home cinema. The fan is loud and the quality of the projection is not convincing. I sent the projector back after a short test.

With a device with Netlfix APP yes, otherwise not natively

I can't answer that, I don't have Netflix. Need the projector as a backup in case another device fails.
