Yes - Bluetooth requires no dongle, just ensure that you have BlueTooth turned on at the Mac/PC end.

The USB receiver is only used for the Logi Bolt secure wireless connection technology - ideally you would be better using this than Bluetooth, but hey life is full of compromises !
