That depends on the TV. It worked with our old Sony. I haven't tried it at all with the new LG :-/ If the TV can play raw BluRay data (also from a USB stick, for example), it also works with this player. However, this drive doesn't have an HDMI or DisplayPort output, so it can't simply be connected to a screen like a BluRay player, in case that was your question.
