Can the player play 4k UHD discs without any problems? In terms of the specs, yes, of course - but many Sony 4k players, for example, have problems with UHD discs (jerking, dropouts, freezing). That's why I'm interested in practical experience to see whether the device really works well.

I have had the device for about two years. No dropouts, stutters or crashes since then. The picture looks very good depending on the source material. My only criticisms are that the menu is a bit old-fashioned and the device is not region-free. In addition, the remote control has a Netflix button that I, at least, often pressed by mistake, which completely threw me out of the film I was watching. This annoyed me so much that I opened the remote control and cut out the button. However, I have nothing to criticise about the quality of the device and the built-in components.

I've also been using the player since 2021 and haven't had any problems yet, neither with old nor new discs (DVD, BR, BR-4K).
Menu/navigation a little sluggish, although you don't actually have to make permanent changes to the settings ;-)
Most importantly, picture and sound (1 HDMI cable on the TV / sound with second HDMI cable on the AVR) are top!

Hello, yes it works without any problems. For example, I have "The Hobbit" with the long version, it is absolutely perfect and runs without interruptions.
