Can the thumb scroll wheel (horizontal scroll wheel) be freely reassigned with the software? i.e. when I scroll down, one keystroke should be executed, when I scroll up another, and when I press another. If not, is it possible to adjust the scroll function of the thumbwheel at all or is it simply fixed?

Helpful answer

The following functions can be placed on the thumbwheel:

- Horizontal scrolling
- Change desktop
- Increase / decrease brightness
- Volume control
- Next / Previous
- Next / Previous tabs
- Zoom out / Zoom in
- Forward / Back
- Switch between applications
- None

It cannot be pressed, but there is a gesture switch where the possibilities are virtually unlimited. When the button is pressed and the mouse is moved forwards, backwards, to the right or left, 4 additional functions can be assigned in each case.
